# Cloud Environment Registration
To register the SAP cloud Environment, you must first register the corresponding credential. Follow the [link ](https://releaseowl.gitbook.io/releaseowl-docs/releaseowl-user-guide/sap-btp/administration/credential-management) and complete the credential setup.
### **1. Navigate to SAP Cloud Environment**
* In the left-hand menu, under the **Environments** section, select **SAP Cloud Environment**.
* Click on the **Register SAP Cloud Environment** button in the top-right corner.
### **2. Fill in the Registration Form**
Provide the following details:
* **Name**: Enter a unique name for the cloud environment
* **Region**: Select the region where the environment is hosted
* **API Endpoint**: Enter the API endpoint URL of the cloud environment (e.g., `https://api.cf.us10-001.hana.ondemand.com`).
* **Credential Name**: Select the credential previously registered from the dropdown list.
* **Org**: Select the correct organization from the dropdown list.
* **Space**: Select the space associated with the environment (e.g., `dev`).
* **Environment Type**: Specify the environment type (e.g., `DEV`, `QA`, or `PROD`).
### **3. Save the Environment**
* After filling in all the details, click **Save** to register the environment.
* The newly registered environment will appear in the **List of Environments** section.
### Edit or Delete Environments
#### **Edit an Environment**
* Click the **pencil icon** next to the environment name.
* Update the necessary details and save the changes.
#### **Delete an Environment**
* Click the **trash icon** next to the environment name.
* Confirm the deletion to remove the environment.
#### **Linked Projects**
The **Linked Projects** tab provides a detailed view of all projects associated with the selected environment.
**Key Features**
* **Environment Usage Visibility**:\
Identify all projects dependent on the environment to avoid unintended changes.
* **Source Environment Identification**:\
The system indicates whether the selected environment is configured as a **source environment** for any project, improving visibility in deployment and transport flows.
#### Logs
The system displays a history of all actions performed on the selected environment. Each log entry provides detailed information, including the action performed, the user who executed the action, and the corresponding timestamp, enabling effective tracking and auditing of environment activities.
