Running Automated Tests with Release Pipelines

Pre-requisites

  1. RO Agent and HCL OneTest UI should be installed on the same machine.

  2. Configure the RO Agent in ReleaseOwl.

  3. Set-up the test configuration for Web UI or Functional Tests in the ReleaseOwl Application to run the HCL OneTest UI script with the specified parameters from the specified path through the RO Agent.

Run the Tests

Run the Web UI or Functional Tests by clicking the run button against the required test configuration in the Test Configuration screen.

View Test Runs, Logs and Junit Reports

To view the Test Runs and to know if the runs have passed or failed, click View Test Runs against the required Test Configuration in the Test Configuration screen.

The test runs and their results along with the Logs and Reports are shown to the user.

Click on Logs to view the logs

Click on Reports to view the Junit Reports.
